Как мне понравился этот роман! Я словно вновь погрузилась в студенческие годы. Только в этот раз - в академическую атмосферу Оксфорда, где язык обладает магической силой.
Пожалуй, одна из лучших книг про перевод. Магия, которая работает на смыслах, потерянных при переводе с разных языков - потрясающая.
Обязательно читайте в оригинале - в переводе потеряна и красота языка Куанг.

Великолепная книга
Отличная книга про учебу и ее трудности, про сложности и тонкости перевода, про то, какими сложными бывают отношения между людьми. Писательница пишет прекрасно и перед вами как на ладони разворачивается эта захватывающая история, а потом ещё очень долго не отпускает вас.
На русском скоро выйдет перевод, но лучше читать в оригинале!
