Книгу уже читала на русском, но было интересно прочесть в оригинале. Написано достаточно просто, в словарь особо часто не пришлось заглядывать. Тема и сам текст интересные, есть над чем задуматься. Но оригинальная книжечка больше похожа на брошюру. Вроде и обложка прочная, с клапанами, есть даже фото автора, сама обложка неплохо оформлена, но она такая маленькая, что может в кармане поместиться. Наверное для небольшого эссе этого достаточно, но русская версия книги в плане оформления понравилась мне больше.
Скрипт к речи автора, Чимаманды Нгози Адичи, «Мы все должны быть феминистами». Данная речь есть в интернете в открытом доступе, однако иметь эту книгу у себя на полке — настоящая привилегия. Автор приводит примеры из жизни о том, насколько здоровый феминизм важен в современном обществе. Приятно слушать, приятно перечитывать, факты остаются фактами и мысли действительно являются важными. Подойдет для уровня владения английским языком В1-В2, не придется частно «нырять» в словарик.
