Изучая английский, а также горя идеей собрать маленькую, но полётную коллекцию из иностранных изданий книг, я приступила к методичному чтению Ротфусса в оригинале. И что могу сказать? По крайней мере, сильных расхождений с этой версией у нас не замечено. Язык тяжеловат для начинающих. Зато звучит красиво, если через пару перепрочтений и с использованием переводчика смысл предложения таки дойдёт. У Ротфусса певучий, лиричный язык - прямо как у поэта. Именно ради этого стоит не только читать «Имя ветра» и «Страхи мудреца», но и пытаться читать на английском.
