Роман приятный, написан легким языком, так что если хочется освежить свои знания английского - эта книга отлично подойдёт. Мне нравится Ффорде за любовь к мелким деталям и бытовухе при соблюдении традиционной для жанра сказочности - все невзгоды героинь легко и безболезненно разрешатся. Что ещё мне нравится, что роман написан недавно, а потому лексика автора современная, а не пахнет нафталином.
Издание приятное, бумага плотная, шрифт достаточно крупный, переплет во время прочтения не пытался развалиться.
