Moreover, Hatu is the last remaining member of the ruling family of Ithrace - the legendary Firemanes. He dyes his flaming red hair, and has studied to control his dangerous magical powers. Хорошее чтение. Немного беспорядочно вставлены имена, новые культуры и персонажи, чтобы отразить откровения о появляющемся враге. Недостаточно предыстории, чтобы придать глубину или угрозу, если это было задумано.
Было бы неплохо иметь карты и персонажей для создания предыстории. Или можно было бы уместить всю книгу в несколько коротких глав.
У главного героя и его подруги двойные сюжетные линии. И периодически еще третий персонаж. Все они следуют по частям. Немного ломает и напрягает, когда читаешь о захватывающих рейдах и событиях, а потом вынужден читать о нудном путешествии. Просто потому, что настал черед обсуждать персонажей.
Но в целом хорошая книга с несколькими интересными персонажами и сюжетными линиями.
