Один из лучших и самых любимых романов Кинга. Больше всего жути нагоняет не сама мистика и уединенный отель, а рушившиеся психика человека. За ребенка переживаешь невероятно - видеть трагедию его глазами вдвойне страшно.
Читала в оригинале - у Кинга прекрасный язык. Книга совсем не сложная, рекомендую попробовать на английском.
