Мне понравились многие книги этого автора, поэтому я подумал, что пришло время попробовать эту серию. Также приятно знать, что остальная часть трилогии уже опубликована, так что я могу двигаться в своем собственном темпе. Должен признаться, что я поражен тем, что это классифицируется как YA. Я не обнаружил большой разницы между этим и другими его работами. Оглядываясь назад, я вижу, что это, возможно, немного менее мрачно, но не намного, и нет 18+ сцен, хотя они редки во всех его книгах. И тогда, конечно, главный герой молод и наивен и «прибретает совершеннолетие» в ходе истории.
