С одной стороны, мне очень понравилась концепция истории и её развязка, с другой стороны, исполнение задуманного автором местами вгоняло в скуку. Вероятно, это связано с тем, что Пуаро берётся за расследования почти двадцать лет спустя, до многих фактов уже сложно докопаться, поэтому в тексте постоянно повторяется информация, полученная им из уст свидетелей, так как он её анализирует и пытается выйти на настоящего убийцу. По этой же причине здесь не так много действий, в основном, только усиленная работа «серых клеточек».
