Это захватывающая история женщины, которая более 30 лет проработала горничной, затем экономкой, затем постоянной компаньонкой и няней у очень богатой, очень жесткой, снобистской женщины, одновременно решая свои собственные семейные проблемы, включая алкоголика-мужа (который тоже умер при весьма загадочных обстоятельствах). Книга потрясающая, читается молниеносно, а главная героиня Долорес - это персонаж, который останется с вами навсегда.
