Основная проблема, с которой я столкнулся в этой серии и с Ашером в целом, заключается в том, что все должно быть с точки зрения персонажа; вместо того, чтобы просто описывать происходящее, вам нужно постоянно говорить, что персонаж думает о происходящем, а это занимает много места.

Слишком много персонажей в этой серии ничего не привносят в нее. Мало того, в них мало индивидуальности, и все они ведут себя одинаково, будь то ИИ, Прадор или человек.

Я не понял смысла в том, что Спир ведет повествование от 1-го лица, в этом нет никакого смысла. Что касается Пенни Ройал, или, может быть, Пенни Дредфул, ну такой никчемный антагонист! Сатоми была гораздо интереснее, а когда она исчезла из сюжета и ее заменили скучные персонажи вроде Амистад и Блайта, все стало еще хуже.

Кроме того, мне просто не было дела до крабов - они опять же не служили никакой цели, кроме как заполнить страницы и обеспечить сюжетную линию для персонажа, который меня просто не интересовал.
