«Плача в супермаркете» сочетает в себе множество несопоставимых факторов, делая эту книгу особенной. Сюжет автобиографичен. Авторский слог очень красивый, мощный, текст содержит в себе огромное количество красивых слов (продвинутого уровня английского языка). Читая некоторые главы, трудно сдержать слезы. Книга о семье, отношениях матери и дочери, о страшных диагнозах, поддержке, поисках себя. Сложная, но при этом очень хорошая книга.
