Роман, передающий чудесную атмосферу жизни в небольшом Американском городке. Рассказ, казалось бы, начинается с отчаяния — грустная и безысходная ситуация, в которой изначально находится главный персонаж, меняется с его переездом в небольшой городок на юге. Очень классные персонажи, и несмотря на то, что очень много внимания уделяется птице (которая, в некоторой степени, тоже является одним из главных персонажей), читать очень интересно. Рекомендую читать владеющим английским языком на уровне В1-В2.
